Customer Feedback:
These are the negative reviews for Pizza Expressio that were left on Trip Advisor.
Eki:
Even saying it was ‘terrible’ is too big an honour for them. The staff talk only Brazilian (you
never know - maybe they swear you). The manager is never on the floor.  Now they have
stopped but before they were doing thin base pizza. More expensive (same amount of
dough) and we had been deliberately misled by Italian manager. (He said IT IS WHAT IT IS).
I found out he had been told by head office to go Extra mile. if you think this is going extra
mile for BONUS i think you haven't got any ethic and self-respect.
I believe that everybody must read this and must understand that RIPPING OFF not
solution.
Debbie:
So you get 25% off voucher and when you pay they say it's not valid on event nights.
Considering most nights are event nights this is daylight robbery. Will not return. Waiter and
manager extremely rude saying everyone bringing in vouchers.
Justin:
Disliked - did not take vouchers despite calling ahead of the visit to be told this was no
problem Loud - very loud music playing throughout restaurant Service - starters didn't arrive
together, staff too busy laughing and joking with each other. Chipped cups
Kevin:
WOW. 16 hours later and I still have the rancid taste of last night's pizza in my mouth. I don't
know if the dough was off but the base was soft like a flannel and tasted like it had been
fried; it was greasy, flat and utterly revolting.
This was not a one-off because the manager agreed the first attempt was inedible and gave
a 2nd (for free) of which all but one bite was binned. The manager assured me the 2nd pizza
was good enough for PE's chief executive. I defy that person to eat what was served up
without gagging.
I've eaten in Expressio Pizza for over 30 years but last night was a war crime against pizza.
Is this the new Expressio Pizza standard?
Christine:
One of our party found hair in her pizza OMG SO GROSS spoke with the manager and his
response was that it happens all the time. So check your food when eating at this Restaurant
or any other of their branches.
Claire:
Very busy we were seated downstairs then waited more than 15 mins before I had to ask for
our order to be taken. People seated after us were served first. No apology for the delay we
ate 40 mins after we were seated.
No one asked of the pizzas were ok. They were nice but at £10.40 for quite a small pizza
nothing special.
We had to find someone for the bill then it was wrong as we had been charged for 3 meals
and a gratuity charge of £4.
Again no apology. The funny thing was my friend was a secret shopper and they had no
idea. Service was dreadful.
