Critical occurrences really are a special group of worker behaviors that concentrate on two distinct areas: particularly outstanding behaviors especially questionable behaviors. The critical occurrences approach to performance evaluation is dependant on managers' spending some time in the past year observing and gathering behavior data on their own employees, while searching extra carefully for individuals critical occurrences.

In the finish of the season, the managers remove all of their notes on these critical occurrences and classify them as either positive/acceptable behaviors or negative/unsatisfactory behaviors. An employee’s rating will be heavily influenced or perhaps based on which pile of information is taller - the acceptable or even the unsatisfactory.

Critical occurrences are individuals which cause us to consider and also to reflect, which result in researching ourselves varieties (individuals and organisations) or about processes (e.g. about transforming into a social worker, the social work task or organisational procedures and policies). • What are the ideas and feelings now relating to this incident?

5. Learning

• What have you ever learned, e.g. with regards to you, the way you connect with others, the way you learn?

• What future learning needs have you ever identified because of this incident?
